Perfect for lunchboxes or a snack to keep in your handbag at work!

Ingredients
1 cup oats (gluten free oats available)
2/3 plain flour
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup coconut oil
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp bi carb soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
Pre heat over to 160C.
Step 2
Put all wet ingredients together in a saucepan and heat til combined.
Step 3
Mix all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl then pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and stir til all combined. Mixture will be somewhat crumbly.
Step 4
Press into a lined baking dish and bake for approx 15 mins or til lightly browned. Leave to cool and once cooled, chocolate can be drizzled over the top. Store in fridge.
NOTES- Use organic ingredients where you can and I also use non bleached baking paper. If the bars need to be individually wrapped, please use fabric or paper to wrap them not plastic. I often add dessicated coconut and dried apricots but you could add 1/2 cup of nuts/seeds/dried fruit/choc chips...anything! It is a great base recipe that you can make your own! Enjoy
